Today, I’m excited to share an important milestone for ZP Connect and the Deaf and hard of hearing community.

ZP Connect is proud to become the first company to bring Video Relay Service to FaceTime video calling.

This breakthrough opens new possibilities for connection between Deaf, hard of hearing, and hearing people.

FaceTime has long helped people connect visually. Now, by bringing sign language interpreters into FaceTime conversations, we’re expanding opportunities for Deaf and hard of hearing customers to communicate with hearing family members, friends, and colleagues.

As our Chief Experience Officer, Chris Estrin, shared, every advancement in accessibility creates more opportunities for Deaf and hard of hearing people to participate fully in everyday life.

Bringing VRS to FaceTime is another step forward, opening more doors to connection at home, at work, and throughout our communities.

Our CEO, Jeff Cordell, also emphasized ZP Connect’s commitment to using technology to modernize and simplify communication, creating more human and personalized connections for our customers.

Being the first to bring VRS to FaceTime is a milestone we’re incredibly proud of.
