Available via videophone, computer, or smartphone, ZP’s Video Relay Service (VRS) allows deaf and hard of hearing individuals to have telephone conversations with hearing people when in separate locations. Using a real-time video connection, an interpreter relays the conversation seamlessly between both parties.
Customers who prefer to use their own voice can use VCO.
If you prefer to use your own voice to speak directly to someone who speaks Spanish, you can use our voice carry-over service.
“I can have ASL through the interpreter and English through live captioning.”
“I love this. It can do no wrong!”
“You will never miss any calls while you’re traveling.”

NOTICE: If you decide to download any ZP application from ZP at no cost, you must affirm you are deaf or hard of hearing and are eligible for VRS use, that the ZP app will be for your own personal use, and that you will not transfer the application to any other person under any circumstances. If a violation of any of these terms occurs, your application will be disabled and a financial penalty may be assessed to you. Please refer to The Z® Product or Purple Product Agreement.
Due to inherent technical limitation of some VRS-based 911/E911 calls, automatic transmission of your location information to a 911 emergency call center may not occur. ZP is also not liable for any damages arising from your failure to provide ZP an accurate, up-to-date Registered Location or for your failure to give permission for a P3 or Z5 application to access your device’s location information. For information about how to update your Registered Location, please refer to ZP’s “Dialing 911 for Emergencies” section on our website at zpconnect.com/dialing-911.
